Our Story

Our Journey

We believe true global connectivity depends on open devices and transparent data pricing.

That’s why we created the world’s first open portable hotspot powered by real eSIM technology. Unlike vSIM devices locked to fixed plans, LA8 lets you install data plans from over 500 eSIM stores worldwide—choose, switch, and connect instantly, no APN setup required.

LA8 eSIM Hotspot Kickstarter Launch

In October 2025, the LA8 eSIM hotspot officially launched on Kickstarter and gained over 600 backers within 30 days.
